Where can I Buy Face Masks?
ROSSLYN NORTH SUPPLIES
Face Masks are definitely here to stay! The government has said that everybody should think about wearing face masks or face coverings in public, particularly in enclosed spaces.
While social distancing is going to remain key for as long as the virus is around, face masks are one of the main safety tools that you can use to keep yourself safe.
They are already mandatory - as in, you won’t be able to travel without them - on public transport in England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. You also have to wear a face mask or covering on board any airline services, and in the airport (if possible, in England, and all the time, in Scotland).
Taxis and the like will also probably require you to wear a mask - Uber have already said that all drivers will wear masks, and passengers won’t be allowed in the car if not wearing a mask.
Masks are mandatory now, remember to wear yours!
If you are visiting a hospital for any reason at all, they would also like you to wear a protective face covering.
Do note however that disabled people, those with breathing difficulties, and children are all excluded from having to wear face masks. Still, if they can - it is always safer to wear one than not.
So, if you haven’t yet got hold of a good quality face mask, now is the time. These rules and recommendations are going to be in place for some time - let’s get on with it!
Last note - face masks are only safe when used hygienically - so make sure you wash hands before you put it on, try not to touch it while you are wearing it, and wash your hands before you dispose of it. Stay Safe!
